Mutual Respect Agreement


This agreement, also known as the rules of mutual respect, outlines the therapist's commitments to the client and the expectations from the client towards the therapist. Its aim is to create an environment of mutual trust, respect, and collaboration between the therapist and the client, which facilitates an effective and positive therapeutic process.

Therapist's Commitments:

Confidentiality: The therapist pledges to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding all information concerning the client, including their health, chosen therapy, frequency of therapy, as well as any information disclosed during therapy sessions. This includes confidential information about the client's health, personal life, and any other sensitive topics.

Truthfulness: The therapist commits to providing truthful information regarding their abilities, experience, and services offered.

Honesty: The therapist pledges to engage in open and honest communication with the client, including sharing relevant information about the therapeutic process and expected outcomes.

Fairness: The therapist commits to providing services with a fair and just approach to all clients, regardless of their race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, or any other identifying factor.

Respect: The therapist pledges to respect the client's body, personality, boundaries, and individual needs. Each client is valued and respected as a unique individual.

Expectations from the Client to the Therapist:

Truthfulness: The client commits to providing truthful information regarding their health, condition, and needs that are important for the therapeutic process.

Honesty: The client pledges to engage in open and honest communication with the therapist regarding their feelings, reactions, and expectations towards the therapy sessions.

Fairness: The client commits to adhering to agreed-upon terms, payment for services rendered, and following the rules set forth in this agreement.

Respect: The client pledges to respect the therapist's abilities, expertise, and boundaries, as well as respecting other clients and their space within the studio.
